I cannot tell a lie, I bought this piece at a consignment store I used to sell in. I saw it, fell in love with it, WALK AWAY from it, had a dream about it, call the store and bought it over the phone:) I did sand off the top and stain it...it was all cream at one point. I also sanded/distressed the woodwork to show off the stunning detail more.
